We took a road trip to VA for a few days to visit Nano and Papa. Last time we were in VA, Jonah was 6 weeks old and hit a growth spurt that led to him eating every hour and us not getting out at all. I was really excited about this trip because Jonah was a little older and doing much better with his colic. I was also really excited because he did so well at the beach! The car ride there was still a little challenging but once we got there I knew things would get better...WRONG! I'm guessing that Jonah hit his 3 month growth spurt because he was really fussy and wouldn't nap the first 2 or 3 days and there was nothing we could do to calm him down. Jonah loves to be outside so we decided to hang out on the back porch for a while so that he would maybe sleep. We ended up spending the last two days on the back porch (which I really didn't mind because I love being outside too). In the end it ended up being a pretty good trip and I got to spend some QT with my family.
