2nd Doctor's Appointment (13 Weeks)

Today we saw Dr. Madison for our 13 week appointment. We got to hear the heartbeat that was beating at a rate of 153. I'm beginning to think that it might be a boy with a lower heartbeat. Nathan and I keep going back and forth about whether we are having a boy or a girl. Honestly, I think I will be really shocked if it's a girl. I also got my flu shot while I was there. Our next appointment we will find out the sex! I'm so excited! November 17th! After we left the doctor Nathan and I spent the rest of the day at the NC State fair. We had such a great time eating good food and walking around enjoying the fall! I love when the state fair is in town!

Our Weekend Get Away to the Burg

10 Weeks

This past weekend Nate and I took a little time to ourselves and got away for the weekend. We knew we wanted to get away for our anniversary but couldn't think of where we wanted to go. We finally decided that it would be a great idea to head up to Lynchburg where it all began. What better place to spend your anniversary than the place where you fell in love. We arrived on Saturday and went straight to the LU campus and drove through reminiscing. After we left campus we met one of Nate's best friends, Jacob, and his wife for dinner at one of our favorite places, Macado's. After dinner we went to Barnes and Noble for coffee and had a great time catching up with friends. On Sunday Nate and I took a day to ourselves and drove to Peaks of Otter. It was a beautiful day! We had a an awesome time hiking, talking and enjoying the fall leaves.

Our 3 Year Wedding Anniversary!

It is so crazy to think that Nathan and I have been married for three years! I guess the saying goes, "Time flies when your having fun". I'm so blessed to have an amazing godly husband whom I get to spend the rest of my life with. Nathan spoiled me on our anniversary by taking me to the Melting Pot. I had never been to a fondue restaurant before now. It was awesome! The waitress seated us in a little private corner booth and Nathan had two long stem roses delivered to our table. She also took our picture and framed it in a really cute melting Pot frame. We had such a great time! I love you Nathan!
