Fall 2010

I LOVE FALL!!! It is definitely my favorite season! Nate and I started dating in the fall and we were also married in the fall, just two more reasons why I love it! This year the fall started off feeling more like August but by the end of October it was starting to feel just right.

Jonah with his baby pumpkin I bought him when I got some mums.

FAIR DAY! ANOTHER reason why I love the fall!!! Every year we go on the first Monday of the fair and spend the afternoon eating, eating and more eating. This year was actually a lot of fun because Jonah was at the age where he could actually enjoy the animals and watch all the rides. We had an awesome family day at the fair! Can't wait for next year!

This was daddy winning Jonah a fish...that died 3 days later :(

Jonah LOVED petting the animals!

Helping mommy eat ONE of her favorite treats at the fair.

Yummy lunch.

The day after my high school reunion Nathan, Jonah and I went with my parents to Willimasbug, VA for the day. It was such a great and beautiful fall day to be outside. While we were there a man was playing the guitar and singing. Jonah sat in amazement and loved hearing him play. This was also the night we later spent at CHKD with Jonah when he got the croop.

Loving the big open field.

Yes, a water table in October! What can I say but it was warm that day and these two boys love the water. This is one of Jonah's best little buddies Davis who lives two doors down and is 6 weeks older than Jonah. They are great little friends and I'm so excited to watch them grow up together!

Before the fair came in town, we had the Wendell Harvest Festival in downtown Wendell. It was a nice little treat of some fair food before the real thing came to town. Jonah went on his first jump n' slide with daddy. I thought he hated it but as you can see in these pictures he is going back for more!

Ahh, nothing brings in the fall better than a day at the pumpkin patch! Nathan, Jonah and I went with Cathy (Nate's mom) to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkin and ride the hay ride. We had the perfect day for it because it was not cold like last year, it was acutally pretty hot. We also got in for free since it was Teacher appreciation weekend! Nothing better than some free pumpkins!

Jonah found a "ball"

Western Branch High School 10 Year Reunion!!!!!!!!

This past weekend Nate, Jonah and I hit the road for VA for my 10 year high school reunion. I will say it's crazy how fast the last 10 years have gone by but I also can't believe how much has happened and changed in my life in the last 10 years!!

It was the most unorganized yet eventful and awesome weekend with old friends...not saying we are old but being back at the old alma mater and watching all the teenyboppers run around did make me feel old! Even though 10 years has gone by I'm still so thankful for the friendships I still have back home. It was also fun watching our husbands/fiancé/boyfriends interact with each other as we all caught up chatting the night away. All in all, GREAT WEEKEND!

Reminiscing in the stands.

Down on the track cheering with Mrs. W.

Great friends! LOVE my girls!

Go WB!

Me and Mandy :)

YAY class of 2000! Haha!

18 Months! Best 18 months of my life!!

My little baby is 18 months!!! I'm starting to believe all our parents when they tell us,"he will be 21 before you know it!" Jonah has developed so much personality in the the last 6 months. I laugh at him all day long and I find myself just staring at him wondering what he is thinking and what he is going to do next. I also catch myself looking at him with that "in awe" feeling not believing he is mine! I'm so very blessed to have this little boy in my life and can't thank God enough for letting me be his mommy.

About Jonah:
Got his fist sinus infection.
Some new words he has learned in the last 6 months are go go go go, night night, bye-bye, ball, ut-oh, dada, mama.
He is officially down to one nap.
Likes walking backwards.
Discovered water puddles and loves them!!

Summer 2010

Catching up...with us having such a fun and crazy summer with daddy being home we were not able to keep up with the blogging very well. Here is a little glimpse of our exciting and fun summer together as a family.

Jonah and I took a trip up to school to help daddy move in his new classroom.

Jonah's first ride on a train at Busch Gardens.

New life jackets for the pool.

Eating at mommy and daddy's favorite place, Fire House.

Jonah enjoying his new favorite thing to do.

Nathan and I were able to get out for a date night and see Dave Matthew's Band. This was really exciting for me because Nate had never seen DMB and I was exciting I got to be there with him.

We had season passes to BG and this was one of the many fun trips we took to Elmo's World.

Just another beach day. We were able to visit the beach A LOT this summer! Jonah loved the sand and by the end of the summer he was starting to really enjoy the ocean.

Visiting our close friends Rachael and Jared and their two little ones.

Great Friends.

Virginia Beach for the day :)

On the way home after a long day on the sand.

We visited Marbles Childen's Museum a few times this summer and Jonah really enjoyed running around discovering new things.

We also spent a lot of time on the back porch in the baby pool.

Nathan graduated from SEBTS in May 2010.

Jonah with us before we went to NRCA's Junior Senior Banquet. Nate also had the honor of being asked to speak at the Banquet.

In Nano and Papa's pool.

Play date with Sophie.

We spend the day with Brody and Logan in Logan's neighborhood pool.

Father's day and Grandpa Ridehoovers.

Once again in Nano and Papa's pool.

Enjoying our time at the park where mommy used to play when she was little.
